The Governing Body of Suomenlinna restores, maintains, manages, and provides information about Suomenlinna sea fortress. The Suomenlinna World Heritage Site is one of the most extensive restoration projects in our country, and there are constantly large and small projects underway on the islands.

Cultural heritage and climate change

The effects of climate change are also seen in the built environment. The project “Developing methodology for monitoring the effects of climate change on cultural heritage sites“ charts the effects of climate change on cultural heritage.
